Life after puppy

Things are quiet around our place. Well as quiet as they can get. All the puppies are sold but thankfully one will stay around for a another week before going to live in Indiana. We start to get bum lambs soon, lambing starts tomorrow so who knows when the calls will start to come. I am so glad we are going from one kind of baby to another.
And speaking of babies Karlee filly turns one this month. I will have to get a birthday picture of the girls.

Puppies, again

Once again, the pups running and playing.

Scooby is a girl. She loves to growl and run around, a spit fire. A fairly uniform red color all over. She is the first to run down to the barn to see the calves.

This is Raccoon, a girl. She is a small one and starting to show a little more personality as the more aggressive pups are finding homes.
UPDATE 5/1 :  Lowly is now sold
This to Lowly the last male pup. He has the most red patches of the remaining pups. His patches on his rump and tail are dark red almost gray. He is very laid back and loving, patient with the kids.

Pictures of Callie and Nick

This is our friend Nick. Him and his dog Callie have been together just about everyday from the time he got her at 8 weeks. She is a wonderful friend and helper to Nick. We are so grateful they are in our lives and our home.
This is a bad picture of the father to the litter of puppies. He is a stouter than Callie but not much taller.

Random cuteness

I keep adding pictures of the puppies we still have. I'm trying to add the ones that show the puppy to his/her best so people can see what they look like. As we're taking all these pictures we end up with lots of just cute and fun shots. I wanted to share some of them today. Half of the puppies are gone now so it's fun to look back at when we had them all under foot.

Looking for adventure

Our little pups are looking for adventure and wondering a little farther from the puppy pen everyday.

We had to say good buy to our polar bear pup yesterday. He's going to live in Nevada, I sure hope they love the little guy as much as we have. We now have 5 puppies running around. Callie is enjoying playing with them and is putting weight back on. One of the pups is spoken for but she will get to stay with us for a few more days before going to her ranch.

So this is the bunch still available.
First is the male with a new picture. It was taken with the first snow flurries sticking to his face.
A girl we call Raccoon.

 Eyes, another girl

 and the last girl, Scooby.

We were trying to not name the puppies, you know you get to attached. Well they all ended up with names anyway, strange names but names all the same.

The Blues are Gone

So today we sold the other blue puppy. I'm so very glad he will be living in with a great family.

I think my family now has the blues. We sure did like the personality of the blue boy and girl. They will be missed. We still have the red puppies to love and with the rain today the little guys are in the house. Time for a puppy nap.

Puppies at 6 weeks

I haven't gone through all of my pictures yet. Puppies move so much, and they are so wild. As they get older they are starting to get personality. Here are some of my favorites.
