Listening to... The kids visiting with each other as they go to sleep. I love that they share a room and can talk about things they learned and did during the day. I will miss this when they are older and sleep in separate rooms. I am sad for Brody who sleeps alone and will never get this opportunity.
Thankful for... My family. I love having my parents stay with us and will miss them when they go home. I am blessed to have a husband who enjoys his in-laws and is happy to have then in our life and for a month out of each year in our home.
In the kitchen... We had fajitas for supper. Nothing fun cooking today but I hope I can make something nice tomorrow.
Sewing... I got fabric for Karlee's Halloween costume and will start making it this week. I love to make their costumes and promised myself I would not let then sit until the day before to get them done.
Reading... The Old School House and Mother Earth News. The Boxcar Children with the kids.
In the yard/garden... The tomatoes are finely turning red! I am so worried they will all be green when the frost starts to come. I have peppers, beans and lettuce that I pick for supper every night and I will miss then dearly when they are gone.
Praying for... My children to learn to get along.
In the CD player today... Nothing. The house was so load with the song of happy little voices I never turned it on.
Looking forward to...A road trip to Minnesota. We will get to see my brother and Grandfather as well as other family members at the family reunion in 2 weeks. Joe and I are also picking up our new team of draft horses!
